Database Maintenance & Monitoring Services
Your organization relies
heavily on Microsoft SQL Server to operate their business functionality and
this database is the key repository of the whole business operation and
revenue assurance.
Performance Monitoring of the Monthly Billing.
Each month we will arrange to initiate a performance trace of a trial bill,
commit, and print process of your selection.
An additional monitoring session you select aimed at ensuring your daily
operations are performing at optimum levels. You are free to pick the 8 hour
window that we use to monitor your business operations for performance
issues.
Both of the performance traces will be captured and recorded in our
Performance History database where we will use the data to identify and
correct site-specific performance issues. The information will be used as an
aggregate history model and will be compared to the performance results of
the same processes and procedures captured from other customers. We
anticipate that this information will help us identify and possibly correct
performance problems proactively.
Maintenance Plan Setup and Monitoring
The setup and management of a daily and weekly database
maintenance plan intended to keep the overall database properly tuned
would also be implemented along with the setup and management of a weekly
index maintenance plan. As with the database
maintenance plan, the index plan we setup will
ensure your indexes are accurate and healthy, as well as the statistical
information recorded in the indexes that help SQL make the best decision for
data interaction.
Priority delivery of all
performance-related procedure enhancements.
This means that as we find opportunities to enhance performance with
procedure changes, process changes, indexing schemas, etc, we will
coordinate with you to deliver the enhancement immediately rather than have
you. All participating customers will receive a WSI performance increase
each time one is available. We will also monitor your system for a short
period of time following any ARIS patch delivery to ensure the system
performs as anticipated. We will also provide an interface of reporting
issues between and with ARIS DB staff to continue working towards a better
overall product performance. Should we find performance enhancements or
discover gains in our other customer’s databases, we will package them up
and distribute to yours. Following ARIS upgrades to your environment,
we will ensure that our changes do not affect anything negatively and will
proactively monitor for verification.
Data Protection and Data Recovery Setup
and Monitoring.
Your data is your business. We will assist you in monitoring backups,
restores, training database maintenance etc. With scheduled backups, space
monitoring and verification of backups, we will help protect your data.
Where there are issues, we will notify you proactively before problems
become critical.
